Ashcroft Observatory Lecture Series Part 3

This Saturday September 1, 2012 at 5:00pm at the Ashcroft Observatory they will be having a class on the Kupier Belt and what happened to Pluto as a part of their lecture series.  The description from their website is "Discoveries in the outer solar system, TNO's (Trans-Neptunian Objects), Plutoids, and what ultimately changed Pluto's status."
This should be a fun lecture.  I am excited to attend and hope everyone will want to take part in this great opportunity to learn about space.

Also don't forget about the fundraiser for the telescope this Friday August 31, 2012 @ 7:30pm at the Cedar Ridge Golf Course.  In addition to the tournament, we will also have telescopes to look through and people to talk about them.
